Wasn't this a spin-off of Dawson's Creek? Was it any good?

It was a spin-off of Dawson's Creek.. and I use the term 'spin-off' loosely since the main character was only on Dawson's Creek for 3 episodes and was solely introduced just to get viewers to watch the spin-off. I have no idea if it was any good because I never gave it a shot. Maybe if they had him on for at least a season, I would've felt invested enough in his character to follow him to the spin-off.

Yah, it's usually not a good idea to expect people to watch a spin-off when s/he was only on the show a few times. Maybe they should have gotten someone from the mothership to make an appearance.
