To start with 7+ viewers and end with nearly 3 million viewers for only 13 episodes is sad. The show must've really stunk (I wouldn't know, I never gave it a chance lol).

it averaged 4.1 million viewers through its 13 episodes, which is pretty good. Sad though it fell off so much

That debut number was great. People were probably expecting, or hoping, to have another Smallville on their hands. They didn't get it. To lose 4 million viewers by the end of it's run is not good, especially for a show on the WB. Everybody Hates Chris had the same thing happened to it. It's debut on UPN had 7.78 million viewers. The next handful of eps were in the 5 to 6 millions, and by the end of it's season, it was in the low 3 millions. Now, it's in the 2 millions on CW.

Airs: The WB at Wednesday 9:00 PM (60 min.) Premiered: October 9, 2002 Last Aired: February 19, 2003 Show Categories: Action/Adventure, Science-Fiction
Legend tells of a caped crusader, Batman, guardian of New Gotham, and his one true love, Catwoman, the queen of the criminal underworld. Their passion left behind something extraordinary, a daughter, Huntress. Half metahuman, she has taken up her father's mantel and under cover of the night, fights to protect the innocent and helpless. Joining her in this struggle, Oracle, who was once Batman's protege, Batgirl. She was caught in the crossfire of the war between Batman and Joker, now she fights crime a different way, a master of the cyber-realms and mentor and trainer to heroes. Together, they have taken in a young runaway, Dinah, a metahuman herself with powers to open hidden doors to the mind, powers that she is only beginning to explore. Together, these three are the protectors of New Gotham - the Birds of Prey.
"Birds of Prey" was a fantastic series, loved by many fans. Unfortunately, the show was one of the many that did not get to live as long as it should have. The show had so much going for it - an interesting storyline, addicting characters, a good theme, and a wonderful cast and crew. With an amazing start within the 13 episodes, who knows what this show would have turned into? All we know, it would have been amazing. The cast has already begun to move on, but now all we can ask for is a DVD box set so we will have something to remember our loved series by. Start off by signing the DVD Petition Online.
Theme Song By Aimee Allen "Revolution".
