I like this show! By the way, episodes 19 and 20 will air May 22 as a two-hour finale.
Do you think it will be back?

Yah, I think GG's cancellation really hightened VM's renewal chances. I don't think the CW would want to fill in 5 hours w/ new programming, especially since their only drama did really bad.

the seasib began a bit decent. if they are renewed and use their new fbi format, maybe it will do better.

Running it on a two hour season (series) finale, on the 22nd is a bit risky dont you think?

It won't matter. The CW will have made their decision about its return before it airs. 1.8 is horrible for a new ep. They've convinced me that the only way VM is coming back is the FBI format, and the show will probably be completely different.

I really hope Veronica Mars gets picked up by another station (unlikely) or turned into a movie (somewhat likely) or ill even be satified with a novel series or comic book series. (pretty likely) It was not Veronica's time to go....

The CW stuck with this show for a lo-o-ng time after it became apparent that it just wasn't gonna catch on with enough viewers to satisfy the sponsors.
Speaking strictly from a business viewpoint, I believe one of Dawn Ostroff's worst decisions of all time was to drop "Everwood"(A show I didn't watch, nor give a hoot about) and retain VM.(A show i watched pretty regularly) Everwood consistently drew higher ratings, and the decision to have dropped it in favor of a show that simply wasn't nearly as much-watched was just plain stupid.

Us Everwoodians couldn't agree more. I appreciate the time we did get from VM, and the effort put in to keeping it around. But it just didn't work. It was ridiculous that OTH was saved as well and not EW. OTH was in the cellar last year and should of been canceled. It was even down 9% this season compared to last. There's really no reason it should keep coming back. But anyways, back to VM. Everyone is upset over her decision to cancel it, but I can't blame her really. What else could she do?. No one was watching. Dawn had huge problems all over the network last year, and she can't keep everything that was hurting the network.
